What is collected

Only what you type into the contact form: your name, email address and message. There is no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies.

Why, and on what basis

To reply to your enquiry. Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) — steps taken at your request before any agreement — and Art. 6(1)(f) — a legitimate interest in answering messages.

Who else handles it

• Netlify, Inc. (USA) hosts this site and receives contact-form submissions, under its Data Processing Agreement. Transfers to the USA rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
• Zoho (EU data centre) delivers email for piesis.lv.

How long it is kept

Messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry, and are deleted within 12 months.

Technical logs

As the host, Netlify processes visitors' IP addresses in order to deliver the site.

Browser storage

The site keeps three things in your browser only: which windows you collapsed or closed, how you sorted the experience table, and whether you have already seen the start-up screen. This uses localStorage and sessionStorage, never leaves your device, and involves no cookies.

Fonts

Fonts are served from this site. No request is made to any third-party font service.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, move, or object to the use of your data — email renars@piesis.lv. You can also complain to the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia (Datu valsts inspekcija), dvi.gov.lv.
